Nick Nolte Mugshot - Malibu

Nick Nolte mugshot in Malibu

"I've been taking it (GHB) for four years and I've never been raped."

- Nick Nolte

Nicholas King "Nick" Nolte (born February 8, 1941) is an American actor, film producer, voice artist, comedian, and former model.

Nick Nolte is famous for such memorable roles in 48 Hours (1982), Under Fire (1983), Down and Out in Beverly Hills (1986), and The Prince of Tides (1991) opposite Barbra Streisand.

He was arrested in September 2002 in Malibu, California on suspicion of drunk driving (see mugshot above). A few days later, he had himself admitted into the Silver Hill Hospital In Connecticut for counseling. The results of the tests conducted at the time of the arrest revealed that he was in fact under the influence of GHB (Gamma-Hydroxybutyric acid), a controlled substance sometimes known as the date rape drug.

He was found guilty of the charge of driving under the influence on December 12, 2002 and was sentenced for three years probation with stipulations for him to submit to drug and alcohol couseling with random testing.
